This woman is obviously crazy - as seen by her leaving the marriage suddenly, showing up unannounced (he should have closed the door in her face) and almost stabbing him over a few words. He either has to throw her out or pack up and move a long ways away. It would be unhealthy to stay with her. And why would he stay? Too little lack of motivation. Too little about her 'transformation".

Might just wake up some morning to find a bread knife lodged in his chest, for forgetting to take out the trash! There's crazy, there's loony toons, then there's Gina!

Between his about to be ex-wife and Nonna he should be scared - very scared. Instead of screwing her, he should be running full tilt in the opposite direction. You thought he should stay with the crazy woman? Just an awful ending.

This was something which honestly could not keep my attention...and that's amazingly bad for a work of fiction. Fiction, by its very nature, requires the reader to ignore the obvious - namely that the words being read have nothing to do with the "real world" - in order for the story to work.

You couldn't do that.

I honestly don't have anything I can say which would be able to point you in a constructive direction. How, for example, do I give you the means to make your characters' actions actually make sense? You write the woman as pretty much bat-shit crazy, but don't give the man the appropriate level of terror that comes from being around someone of that type.

As for the woman, there really is no truly believable motivation for her behavior, so all the interplay between your characters just further reinforces the lack of belief in your story.

Sorry, but it really is shit.

I thought this story was entertaining and funny. Some of the comments are from folks who need to lighten up and get a sense of humor. Did not see this particular fetish coming.

Can't believe some people didn't think this was an interesting story. I had a girlfriend who grew hair for me and we both enjoy the fun we had for 2 years. Further, everything went well - there wasn't even a hint of badness on the part of the players - if the knife bothers you (it missed, and certainly on purpose) don't hang around people with a thing about honor.

Possible, if in fact she was worried about 1. if she was in fact attractive to her husband, compounded by the realization that the identity she was running from was in fact the identity that would really get her husband excited - she had to come to terms with her "hairy and natural" self before she could compromise and 2. Nona apparently got sick, and needed her help.

The "old country" feel to the female protagonists' speech leads to a possibility of cultural misunderstandings - strengthening the stories message.

The problem as I see it is that she had him followed to see if he did anything with another woman while she was gone but she reacted with violent threats when he questioned her faithfulness.

The double standard where it is only a natural reaction to her lack of trust in him is the real problem.

Untrustworthy people are the least trusting of people (followed closely by those who have been burned by trusting the wrong people).

OK, I'm split. If she was telling the truth, this was a well written "actual loving wife" LW story, worth 5 stars. Problem is, I'm having a lot of trouble believing that she's not lying (and I'm not MC she can threaten with a knife) about no other men - her excuses of why she was gone so long sound incredibly flimsy. So that's 2 star RAAC. I'm going to compromise and give 3.5 stars, because the author chose to not provide any meaningful proof (and really suspicious excuses) for her absence and behavior during it.

You want to believe she's being honest about not even so much as masturbating while being apart, however, this is LW and statistically speaking, it's just not the case. Not impossible; just improbable. But since it's not really the focus of the story, I'll give her the rare benefit of the doubt. The "deep secrets" were pretty silly. Not a real blonde and being into hairy girls? Come on who fucking cares, really?
