As a old navy guy this seemed way too unrealistic but then again, I was pretty naive. This was a hot tale and I got hard right away. I too would like to see it continue.

I was a commissioned officer in the Navy. I thoroughly enjoyed your tale and found no real fault except perhaps the XO more likely would have been a Lieutenant Commander rather than a lieutenant. Also, I served on tin cans and never saw a yeoman with a cabin in Officer country, especially not alongside the Captains.
