Thoughts

I know it's needed for the plot, but I would have just put the column in as is, or dump it on Ms Ferguson's desk and tell HER to deal with it.

Who uses film these days? Or floppy disks? This is recent enough for amateur web pages, and he's not using a thumb drive or the cloud?

Negatives-shmegatives! He's got the computer images on the disk!

film cameras, thumb drives and the cloud

Payback was written in 2000 and back in that primitive age, many people still used film and there were no thumb drives or cloud. I do have the original year on every story but the moderators keep cutting it off.

Having lived a long life and a lot of it surrounded by photographs and computers I immediately knew the time frame for this story as being late 90's as at that time lots of us were still using film because the cost of digital cameras were very very expensive when talking about a professional grade. And then to bring up 3.5 floppies boy just brought back memories though by then cd's were taking over. I loved the story, how it became more than revenge but a promise of an ongoing pleasure. Keep them coming and no matter when they take place I am sure to like it

Time Frame

I stand corrected on the time frame, although that makes me question the web page. Were there individual web pages back in 2000?

I also stand by my statement that what would it mean if he gave her all the negatives, even right away - he still has the computer images, not to mention the prints!

I'm an average wife and mother, well, maybe not so average, who likes to write Erotica. I'm not a professional writer. In fact, until I tried writing my first story in the early 90s, I hadn't written anything longer than a letter since high school 20 years before. I like ...
