This I've never understood. If she's in your throat or is blocking your throat, the whole question of breathing through your nose vs. your mouth is meaningless... if your throat is blocked, you cannot breathe, period. Very dangerous. I keep seeing this in multiple stories, sometimes in stories that otherwise got many other things right, and it just makes no sense to me.
