"Just the same," Elmer said as he grabbed his boxers so he could walk Janie part of the way over to her house.
"Now this would be hard to explain if we got seen," Janie kidded. "Me walking through the field with you in your underwear."
"You're right," Elmer said before they ducked behind a tree and kissed good night. "I won't bother with the boxer shorts next time."
"Can't do that," Janie scolded playfully before skipping the rest of the way to her bedroom window. "You get nettles and sticker burs from dragging your pecker through the field and what good are you?"
