It's quite well written but the plot holes and inaccuracies detract from the story and it's surely in the wrong category.

Olympic swimmers are professional, they don't work as receptionists. They have dedicated teams around them and would never allow a stranger into the set up. They would never allow a previous gold medalist to be exploited by a photographer.

If your setting for a story is as specific as the Olympics you need to get things like that right.
