A Great Road Story

Great change of pace story, I really enjoyed this one. The characters in your stories are all so well developed, and easy to love.

Love among the bushes

Great story! Have you in my favorites.

A gentle suggestion before I go. The grammar Nazis will lay into you for having two people speak within the same line or paragraph, had my ass reamed for that myself.

Keep up with the writing!

Another excellent story

I do have a few suggestions.

You seem to write all in one font, and use double quotes for everything thought or spoken. Single quotes or italics for those would be nice to differentiate them a bit.

Lit doesn't allow much, but there are some HTML codes you can use. Drop me a PM if you want more.

Another example ...

... of why you're one of my favorite writers! Great story about everyday people caught up in unique circumstances. Always a pleasure to read (or re-read) one of your stories, Ann. Keep 'em coming!

Terrific tale!

Great story, Ann. I loved the easy pace and so many great details. A real slice of life. I knew a lady trucker once, with a similar build. This brought back a sweet memory. Thank you.

Sweet

A collage, impressionistic, sixties tropes, trucker archetypes, a road tale with a twist, well paced and quite lovely.

"Kevin's position wouldn't have been that much of a problem, seeing as it was the result of somnambulistic movements."

Yep, always a big problem in my house...

I'm an average wife and mother, well, maybe not so average, who likes to write Erotica. I'm not a professional writer. In fact, until I tried writing my first story in the early 90s, I hadn't written anything longer than a letter since high school 20 years before. I like ...
