Your story just straight up sucked, those nasty lil' sterotypes about black women aren't appreciated either. this garbage should be taken down
I don't suppose "Anonymous in USE" will ever look back here, but.. What he calls the steretypes of black women are I hope different from what I have in "Far from the City's Bustle," "Full Course," "No Joke," "Showing Her Around," "The Climax of her Life," and especially "The Outsiders." All were nore-or-less inspired by women whom I have known -- as was this one.
I must have missed the parts that offended the first reader that commented. It was a good story. If you are looking for stereotypes, check out the drubbing honkies get in loving wives.
I read this story a long time ago and just came across it again. I liked it both times and I am a black woman. I thought it was honest. Although I liked "Showing her Around" it was a bit too sappy-sweet for me so I have to say I like this story more. Although this girl is nothing like me or most black women I know, I have read some stories with horrible stereotypes of us and this is not one of them. Thanks for the stories Otzchim.
