It's really quite funny.

I found the story a bit hard to follow. It is also very unlikely that a young woman of the times when losing her virginity would 'force' a man to marry her for honor would have a conversation with Darrowby like she does at the beginning - he could say the things he said, but she wouldn't. I read through to the end, but didn't really enjoy the story, though parts of it were amusing.
