A very different approach, sort of a "manly" version of a romance/Valentines Day story. Thank you.

Then it just got strange. In an attempt to be what, clever? You got lost in the words and the story turned out to be uninteresting. Neither clever or entertaining.

If my memory serves me well I've read this or at least a nearly identical story several years ago.

Pretty good story about a strange cupid. I never thought of Blackbeard as a sympathetic figure. Lt. Maynard might agree.

Not too bad, just a bit hooky for me.
