Click hereBosch glanced at Washington who had stood up. A look of hope appeared, but disappeared just as quickly when he simply turned and walked away. I had been hoping for that as I'd lied about the whole gun not working thing, but I was hoping that his belief in the lie would prevent him from trying to shoot me.
Bosch was looking at me before glancing down in defeat. "What do you want from me?" he whimpered in fear.
"Simple. I want this club. In fact, I'll give you until five o'clock Monday to facilitate this. And in return I'll give you, oh wait a moment, let's see... Ah, twenty five cents," I said as I dug three coins from my left pocket. He stared at me. I grabbed his hand and asked, "So, do we have a deal?"
He nodded.
"Say it!" I commanded.
"Yes, we have a deal."
"Good. You'll notice there's a little black mark on your hand now. If you don't transfer this club to me that mark on your hand will grow like rot spreading across a corpse. In the end, well, you'll resemble someone suffering from leprosy, so do hurry. Oh, and have a nice morning." After I finished speaking I turned and headed back for my car confident that he'd do what I wanted.
Don't bother going to the book-oasis site. Even after high friction sign up requesting email, name, address and phone number, the checkout does not work. I tried three different browsers. The site has an outdated design and links are for insecure http. If I could have found the book for sale elsewhere, I wouldn't have made this much effort. The author would be better off moving to bookapy (which probably wasn't an option 4 years ago). As it is I don't see how the author is making any sales.
So if you havnt checked my profile page out I wrote the full book and it cn be found at book oasis.com for 2.99
Deffinately looking for more. Very well written and sucks you in as you read it.
I like the back story of your main character and we as readers see his development. The story is great, it has developing protagonist that gives the antagonist a goal; hence the rise of the warlock. Also, in the previous chapter you could have given warning of the incest. Also also, I'm glad there is no love interest (not considering the sister) so Bart can focus on his craft.
Great that the story's starting to show it's self, hope to see the next chapter soon.
