I'm not sure what it is called around the rest of the world but in Australia we refer to it as the "tall poppy syndrome". Cutting people down to size - even if they don't deserve to be. Still a great story so far. Thanks.
but you kind of need an editor. There are some typos (heel for hell, hype for hope, allot for a lot), plus a lot of homonyms that get through a spell checker, but are the wrong meaning (steal/steel rods). Also, since this is taking place in Wyoming, pubs are bars and punters are the (American) football players who kick the ball to the other team on 4th and long.
Yes, spell checker can only do so much, but thanx for commenting, that is how we learn. I havent had much luck with editors...so I'm trying to do this on my own. Keep on posting what you guys find wrong, it will only inspire me to get better at this.
