This is very tender. An sexual awakening between best friends. There are the usual problems to overcome when a best friend relationship becomes more intense and sexual. I don't claim to understand the cutting Matt struggles with. So much pain, fear of rejection and self loathing. I really hope that Alex can give him everything that he needs to become whole. There are some very serious dangers with this relationship. If it does not work out, or goes bad it could lead to more than cutting, and a possible loss of the more important part, the long time friendship could be seriously damaged beyond repair... There is really no turning back once the train has left the station... Please continue this beautiful love story... Don't leave it unfinished, as so many great stories end up on here... Make a commitment to see the story through, or don't even begin... Thanks...

It seems that Alex's love can bring Matt away from his cutting himself, or at least I hope. Love Alex's "slightly hairy chest" and how it must excite Matt. Keep writing. I like their growing love story!

This just glorifies and romanticizes cutting, if he cared for him he'd understand and immediately put a stop to the cutting. It is not healthy romantic or deep

Although I enjoyed this, I would liked to have seen a better ending showing Matt got help with the cutting and a little more sex in it. Still a great story to me.

This wasn’t my kind of love story. It was sad, really heartbreaking, how broken Matt is. He is not in any shape to enter into a healthy relationship and I’m afraid Alex’s love is not enough to heal him. There was barely any sex and then it just ended. 5 chapters and then nothing.
