The story line is IMHO implausible, and without question it is very old and tired (usually some sweet young thing is caught in a sudden snowstorm) The author does get a lot of credit in my book for NOT locating the the narrator's hymen inches inside her vagina (as is common in this genre, and never so in nature), and further credit for not having her have an orgasm during her first experience of intercourse
