This chapter was amazing! I loved the length, the characters and the sex scene. It's nice to see Kate accept and embrace Joe but still have some sass and rebellion. Joe's character is beyond complex. It's truly fascinating to see his guilt and vulnerability. I love how one moment he's falling in love and planning a romantic date and then next he goes back to being an savage beast who is unapologetic, erotic and taboo. It truly shows the complexity and multi-faced nature of human beings. You alluded to a past love for Joe! I can't wait to read that. Your work is beautiful.
