Silver Moon: A Change Ch. 05

Dan's opponent froze when he saw just how large Dan was and started to shake. He had never seen a wolf that large before and after a brief glance at his alpha, flopped down into a kneel and then onto his back. "Please forgive me."

Dan growled at him. *Fucking pansy for folding this quick. You have two choices, change and fight me or die. I am not going to accept submission at this point. You challenged me and I am going to go through with it. Change or die.* His mental voice was hard as rock.

The other man slowly rolled over and hoped he would survive the fight. When he changed he was a good hundred and fifty pounds lighter than the Alpha he was facing. The fight was over before it even started.

As soon as he changed Dan attacked and slammed into his side and knocked him over. As he was rolling, Dan's teeth and muzzle wrapped around his neck and gave a good shake. *I should kill you right now you insolent brat but will save that for another day.* One more shake and he dropped the beta and stalked toward the center of the ring. *Next challenger please.* His wolf wanted to just attack but Dan knew better than that.

The alphas had all frozen when Dan changed and before they could do anything, the fight was over. They had never seen a lycan that large or fast before and all of them were freaked out, though they tried not to show it.

*Who is his Alpha? Come forward so I can replace you with someone deserving of it.* Dan stood there and waited for a few moments. When nobody moved he started snarling. *I had better get a response or I will kill all of you and replace all of you with my choice from your packs!!*

That got a response and a large muscular man walked forward. "I am the Alpha and I told my Beta to take it easy on you." He smirked, but all there could smell the shock and fear emanating from him when he said that. He hadn't expected his second to go down that easy and knew that he couldn't compete with the wolf in this shape. "Let's try it in human form."

Dan quickly shifted and ignored the fact that he was nude. "Works for me, prepare to get your ass kicked." Since the man was in the circle and had challenged him, he didn't hesitate and was quickly in motion. This fight was not quite as short and Dan did take some damage, but a minute or two later the other alpha was tossed from the ring and bounced off a fence post. The fence post broke and Dan growled. "Damn it I just fixed that. You will be getting a bill for that."

The next two fights were slowly getting longer since Dan was getting damage from the fights, but each and every one ended about the same as the first two. By the end of the fourth fight he was looking at Tony and was more than impressed when he got a message from him. *I am going to fight you because I have to. Try not to hurt me too badly.*

Dan gave him an evil grin. "More food for the slaughter. Come Tony and feel the teeth of your Alpha." *Not a problem and we are going to do this together. If you follow my directions I am going to make you second in this mess and eventually I am going to teach you what I know so that you really are the second.*

The fight lasted longer than the others and by the end Dan was bleeding and so was Tony. Dan was standing over him with a paw on his chest. *Surrender or die.* He made sure to broadcast that to everyone.

Tony exposed his neck and Dan leaned over and grasped it and gave it a good shake. Once he was done he moved away and shifted. "This ends the challenges. I am the lead alpha. Come here all of you and kneel down." His voice was hard and they complied with certain amounts of resistance.

Once they were all kneeled down in front of him, he looked the alphas, what mates there were and their betas in the eyes. "I am in charge and am going to induct you into my territory." He looked at Saul and spoke. "Knife now." Moments later there was one in his hands and he could smell the fear emanating from all of them. Not as much from Tony but he was still emitting fear.

"Tony lasted the longest so he is going to be my second Alpha. Drink of my blood and seal yourself to me." Dan sliced his palm and dribbled the blood into his mouth. As soon as the bond formed Dan sent to him, *This is how the pack bonds are formed and if you do this with your pack they should form the same. I am only telling you this since I actually trust you.*

He moved down the line and forced each and every wolf to drink of his blood and once done showed that his hand was healed. "You are my Alphas. I have read you the rules that my packs are going to abide by. Break them and I will discipline you. Break the important ones and I will kill you and replace you." That was a snarl since one or two of the alphas were almost as bad as the one he replaced. "Now go and inform your packs of what has passed and also inform them of my rules. I will be coming by each pack once or twice a week till I am sure that we understand each other."

Dan moved back a bit. "Oh, and you will send someone with the tithe in the next day or two. I would hate to have to visit and find out why it wasn't delivered or the full amount of it wasn't delivered. Don't even try the 'it has been a bad month' on me since I will know. Dan turned away and started walking towards the house. "Go and inform your packs of the change in leadership and of my rules."

The last couple of weeks had been interesting to say the least. Dan was even beyond tired since he had been visiting each of the new packs that now fell under his jurisdiction. His first visit had been to Tony's pack and that had gone quite well so to speak. Dan had enough of a sense of him to actually sit down and inform him of how he was forming the pack bonds even though he had figured some of it out based on the fight they had at the new Alpha introduction. The first thing Tony had done when he arrived back home was to line up all the pack members, minus the pups and fed them a bit of his blood.

Dan felt each and every new bond and mentally sort of growled since that really wasn't what he needed and had ended up spending the day in bed dealing with the new bonds. Again it went back to bringing only one or two into the pack at a time. On top of that, Tony had a larger pack than he did and now he not only had the bond with Tony, but with almost 35 lycans above the age of 18 to deal with.

"Tony what the hell were you thinking?" Dan asked as he was escorted into Tony's office on his first visit. "You gave me a headache from hell and I should actually kick your ass around the circle in revenge."

Tony blinked and then realized what Dan was talking about. "Um, well since it created a link between the two of us I figured it would work between my pack and I." To be honest he was more than startled when Dan stormed into his office but since he was lead Alpha now, he couldn't really complain.

"I know what the hell you did but it gave me a bloody headache and I ended up with Mari and half my pack in my bed since they were so worried about me. Besides, you forgot to do the same with all of your pups. They are lycans as well aren't they?" He was trying to keep from snarling when he said that.

Tony flinched and then realized what he was saying. "Um, I am sorry? I just wanted to be as good an Alpha as you are and figured that would connect me with my pack." His voice lowered and he looked at his desk. "Sorry Alpha. I really didn't know."

Dan wasn't in the mood to be appeased. "Fine, be a good Alpha but before you do anything else call me. I have to visit all my Alphas this week and having a migraine while visiting is going to get someone killed. Before you induct your pups let me finish my schedule. Do it on Sunday. If you do it before or after I might just come and rip your head off. This migraine really fucking sucks." He stood up and stormed out and told Saul to take them home.

It hadn't been a good visit but he didn't really care and if anyone else did that he was going to kill them. It was as simple as that. They would die. He considered sending a message out about it but was going to need to consider it and how to deal with it. He hadn't had a headache this bad in ages.

Saul didn't say anything and headed back to their mansion and once, there stopped by the front to let Dan out. God help anyone that pissed him off in the next day or two since they would either end up beaten to a pulp or dead.

It had only been a few weeks since Dan had taken over the local packs and Mari knew that he was still grieving for his lost mate and cubs, but darn it she was actually feeling horny! Dan had been so very gentle with not just her but also the cubs in the pack and that mattered a great deal to her on a very personal level... Giani loved him more than he could imagine and her two minions loved him as well and would do anything for him. That alone would have drawn Mari to him, but there was him as well. He simply drew her to him for who he was.

Right now Dan was downstairs working on something related to the pack and she couldn't help but appreciate how much time he spent on the pack. Well, on the pack and trying to improve it and not drive it into the ground. From almost dawn to dusk, he was working on the house, training the pack, dealing with finances, or whatever else needed to be done. Mari loved that about him but also wished that he would consider his personal needs.

When Dan drug his body to bed, he was exhausted and Mari had a feeling that part of it was to keep his mind off of his lost family, but ultimately he was working to improve the pack and that meant more to her than she could really say to him. The cubs had said it to him but she couldn't. Right now she had decided to take a bath and was lying in the tub in his room, and as odd as it sounded she was horny as all get out. It felt really odd to her since it wasn't something she had felt since she was a pup, well older pup.

As she settled into the tub she sighed and one hand slid up to her breast. She couldn't resist stroking it as her mind wandered to thoughts of having Dan make love to her. She wasn't as wet as she could be since she was in the tub and the water washed away some of her wetness, but her fingers knew what she wanted and needed. One finger slowly slid into her tunnel and her thumb started stroking her clit and she had to let out another moan. It felt so good, so much better than it had in a very long time, and a second finger slid inside and then a third. As she was working herself to an orgasm, all she could think of was Dan taking her and knew that he would feel so good moving inside her and that he wouldn't hurt her. When she stepped out of the draining tub, she realized she had forgotten to bring any nightclothes in with her. "Silly woman, think you are going to walk out nude and have Dan look at you? With a sigh she toweled off and after wrapping the towel around her body walked out and froze when she saw Dan on the bed. He was lying on his back and had his hands tucked under his head and had a soft smile on his face. All he had on was some shorts. "Um, sorry if I disturbed you." Oh god she was blushing deeply.

"Mari, if I ever hear you call yourself ugly again, I will spank you. You are a beautiful young woman and you are getting some meat on your bones which you need. You might be slender but you have everything a woman needs." He sat up and crooked a finger at her to call her close. When she was almost between his legs he wrapped his arms around her.

"I haven't done anything with you out of respect for both my former mate and for you. I have not asked if you want to have sex and would never force myself on you." His hands slid up her back and finally cupped her head and pulled her face down to his. "Mari you are a beautiful young woman and I would love to take you to bed and make love to you." His words were soft and his breath brushed across her lips as he gently kissed her.

He had wanted to make love to her for the last week or two but hadn't wanted to scare her. Nang had been more feminine looking with larger breasts and wider hips but wasn't much taller than Mari was. "Do you think I wanted you to serve my needs? What I want is someone who willingly enters my bed and not because of some duty or simply because I asked." He noticed her looking at the floor and could still smell her arousal even after the bath. His hands slid back under the towel and stroked the skin on her back. The towel fell off her body and draped itself over his arms. He was holding her close and ignored the towel that was draped over her and his arms.

"Mmm... Pine and Cinnamon. You smell so good to me." He felt her tilt her head for better access and he lightly licked over the pulse and up to her ear and sighed. "My little submissive, I have to thank you for helping me stay sane and for sleeping with me even when I am sure that you were scared of me. You will make someone one hell of a mate someday." "I will make love to you Mari and I will teach you what making love is really like. It isn't poke, prod, and then falling asleep. It is taking care of your needs as well as mine. It is a sharing between two people. I am going to make love to you like you deserve."

Mari had to shiver slightly as he talked. She was already on edge but didn't really have any idea of what he might do to her or with her. Most of her experience had been bend over and I am going to screw you and not much else. She leaned into him and rested her head on his shoulder. "I am sort of scared Dan. This is not something I have ever done before." Her voice was very quiet and there was more than a bit of fear in it.

"Mari I will never hurt you and as your Alpha my word is my bond." Dan gently tugged on the towel and waited until she relaxed a bit before he took it off her body and dropped it on the floor. "Like I said, you are a beautiful woman." His eyes slowly traveled up and down her body, slowly drinking in her feminine form. Her breasts had filled out some as well as she wasn't as scrawny anymore. The right amount of food had filled her in nicely and he knew that included most of the women as well.

He let his fingers lightly slide down her back and sides as she was leaning into him. Part of it was to feel how she was doing but part was also to enjoy feeling her body. One pleases the other and then gets a return from him or her."

They would either melt into it or freak out and he really didn't know what Mari would do. The answer was quickly answered as he slowly ran his tongue across her navel.

"Dan you butthead that tickles!!" Mari couldn't help but squeal when he licked it. Before that it had felt good but when he licked it the tickles hit and she couldn't help but giggle and laugh.

For a moment Mari leaned against him as he licked the tears off her face before he started working his way down her body.
