...And you pulled me in with your back story. Characters were well thought out, Donnie was a little over the top, was awfully glad when he made his exit. In Vietnam transsexuals were not given the status they had in other countries, and everything you explain seemed well researched (or known?)... it was a brutal place, and a brutal time, and the atmosphere you placed the story in was wonderful. My only suggestion? Minimize. Sometimes facts you'd already given were repeated. 5 stars, because I'm drawn to dark stories like this and you write very well. Please, write more. Cheers! --- Josie

It is indeed very nice story. Different than most other stories in this category. A sequel would be great.

This reads like an excerpt from a published paperback novel by a very established and esteemed novelist.

If I was to learn that this was indeed an excerpt from a published novel, I would not be surprised in the least.

This was very well written and a pleasure to read, though not actually erotica in the sense of written porn, and to my mind, not sexy, was a great read none the less.
