Starts with the LW standard young wife cheating with her boss then veers off into war and chaos.

Entertaining, fun, dramatic, and a touch of revenge.

As usual Britease... Just the right amount of detail, suspense, humour and love of life.

Really enjoyed the story especially since I know Dubai & Mumbai (particularly Nariman Point) quite well and have done my share of traipsing around Africa.

Lived in Belgium for a few years --- Yup... The girls are truly great!

He should not have had any trouble encountering Flo again since they were both

connected to industries. Flo was a really courageous and decisive little lady.

A very exciting read, on several levels.

Shows how one cheating woman can screw up so many lives. Our hero became a bad ass and found love. Life should be this good.

I guess we're to assume that he meets up with Florence when he starts working with the Belgian company? I would have enjoyed more story about her and their love affair, and less about the bacchanal in Mumbai.

Very fun rollicking story. Not a high component of loving wife (certainly not the first wife we met! We got no background on why she was such a tramp), but lots of action. Good job.

Why the hell did he show Campion any kind of mercy, a few tears? Don't make me laugh, should just make the revenge sweeter.

Campion has no one but himself to blame, it was after all him that taught Jenny that cheating was no big thing.

Well, I couldn't make it through this one. The first page was difficult to digest. It seemed like every sentence contained a parenthetical statement, with a parenthetical statement to the parenthetical statement. By the time I got to the end of the sentence, I couldn't remember the original point of the sentence.

Why did you bother to write that? The score speaks for itself, the story speaks (very eloquently) for itself. Are we supposed to care that you have attention deficiency?

You are joining the sorry ranks of commentators with verbal diarrhea. When you next reach for your keyboard remember the great axiom.

Thanks for a magical story. I wondered where it was headed half way through, but it's rare to find a combination of deeply compassionate / sentimental and macho in a male character. Obviously based on real people. Your situations and solutions are realistic and complex enough to be entertaining. I'd loved to have met Duce uninhibited women as you describe.

As an engineer I was loving the situation in the jungle with the broken guns and an employer who wants a magic solution out of nothing. The final corporation building was inspired - it brought to mind a former boss of mine, ex navy engineer who built a high tech electronics empire out of nothing over a lifetime.

You were right to forewarn the lack of explicit sex in the story, but the resulting adventure made it a fine read.

Bypassing how Mike ended up reconnecting, and then marrying Florence.

We already know so much about the guy and what he went through, you would think it would be of some importance for us, the readers, to learn how he managed to get to his 'happily ever after' - and no, didn't see anything cluing me in on how it happened. It's as if Britease just got tired of writing this story after the last trip in Mumbai, and rush its ending.

Before that, though... as fine a story as you're going to get on this website.

Great lifting, smooth flying... very chaotic landing. But everyone's fine.

An officer who can shoot and hit what he shoots at! Almost unbelievable, if I didn't know another one. I like your ending, and middle, and beginning. Not sure it's in the right category, but I suppose it was a 'loving wife' who started him on his 2nd life of adventure and fortune. A very good read.

You do seem to have a knack for soldier of fortune. Do you publish?

Probably your best story, so far (IMO) keep these kind coming. Glad Jenny got her cumupance although a girl with her talents would probably have wound as an escort and plenty of money. Not broke and living with a loser.

This was boring as fuck

Good story, reads like an adventure novel. An interesting set of characters, Jenny just sounds like she had a few screws loose but the ex-boss was kinda interesting. Despite apparently sharing Jenny with his colleagues he didn't turn out so bad. If I had one complaint it would be the ending was too abrupt, would have liked to explore a bit more of the reunion with Florence and their romance.

Pretty interesting storyline. Guy gets shit on by his foolish wife, cuts her loose and after acting out his angst he moves on making some good and some sketchy decisions and ends up making a new life for himself. I really like the idea that a person can move on from a relationship while keeping his head straight and maintaining a proper perspective on moving on in life. Whatever happened to the X? Who cares and why would it interest you anyway.

Cut shirt the ending

The shift in the storyline regarding the wife becoming a slut didnt work for me. She started out sleeping with Campion, whom she had been with since she was 19. Clearly a case of wanted the supposed best of two worlds. But then for her to turn into a slut and have an affair with a 3rd party now makes her a slut and a totally different person from the one in the beginning.

My two cents is that that was too inconsistent of a behaviour.

I get that this gives the two men a chance to bond and work together, but I don't buy into the attempt of creating the scenario of once a cheater always a cheater.

Also, while it was kinda hot, why did he initially hunt down Neha and not go after Florence as soon as he returned?
