Turtledove fan??

Yes I am, though the idea for this story was sparked by another "What If" novel entitled "Bring the Jubilee" by Ward Moore. I did incorporate the single name idea from Turtledove's novel "How Few Remain." I'm a steampunk fan, so I had to have airships in here. And electrics cars being prevalent was inspired by the episode "Bad Company" in an obscure Western entitled "Peacemakers" that sadly only lasted one season.

Classic story...Very engaging, entertaining and out of the box

Gasoline is green. But having 100 million burners isn't. Mix up the energy sources and we'll all be better for it. Over-reliance on one commodity is not a good thing.
