the resolution felt kind of weak to me. She should have been the one to have the strength to come back to him.
Dunno, it just felt super contrived you know? Would have been much better if she made the decisions herself and realized the mistakes she made on her own. It just doesn't feel as genuine the way he basically leads the conversation. Like an apology you need to tell someone to give you isn't as good as one is freely given without prompting
Sniperking -- you make some valid points, but you're viewing Janetta's actions from *our* culture, not hers or Ranji's. Yes, she should have made the apology, but as I've pointed out elsewhere, Janetta is a first-generation noblewoman and grew up a tough street kid. In later chapters, you will get more background both on the society they live in and, in chapter 16, learn a lot about Janetta's home life growing up.
