I don't know if the story is true, but it leads as though it were. The best way for me to describe it is as beautifully sad. It's a story that should be read.

As the writer of this story, this is purely a work of fiction. No, this is not true. The Stonewall Riots are the only thing real about the story and played an important role in the GLBT community. For those that I are wondering, I was reading about them the event which inspired me to write this story and I am much younger than when this event took place.
