It was a nice story though it is always frustrating when an inability to communicate drives the story even if that is sadly very accurate to real life. Of course, Clare opening up doesn't just solve her issues and neither does amazing sex. With the set up of a promise of 3 sessions, a time skip where Clare gets her shit together then comes back and "demands" her 3rd session would have solved that though it obviously introduces other issues.

I'm mildly surprised the story didn't end with a scene with Clare joining the family for Sunday lunch.
