I love the direction this series is taking, and your expanded combat scene was excellent too! I would use it only for the most significant or memorable fights though, otherwise the pacing will slow right down.

Also, good work on the author's note, explaining your answers to reader's questions is always laudable.

Big improvement over in this last instalment. Tension is a lot better than it was before. I felt a bit cheated that we missed out on some Vette action, but I understand why it was done. Looking forward to that payoff.
