Section name.

The section is incest and taboo. Teacher/student relations are considered taboo.

People have a too broad scope on taboo

We have plenty of other more specific categories that would cater to stories such as this one, incest/taboo isn't one however. This is a category for everything dealing in blood or marriage related relationships and sexual escapades, simple as that. Just because you find a teacher/student relationship taboo doesn't mean the rest fo the world does too.

Wrong category. What anon said is true - everything is taboo to someone, so if that was enough, you could put anything in that category.

Also the category description clearly states "Keeping it in the family."

<P>

What world are you living in, because it isn't this one? Even when the student is above the age of consent, the teacher is often considered in loco parentis and statutory laws still apply.

The author could have saved us from the argument about whether or not this qualifies as TABOO.

But that appears to be the only thing worth discussing in regards to the story. The story itself isn't especially compelling, or intriguing, or even all that well-written. But the topic of Taboo Or Not did spice things up. Slightly. How about this: Just about anything on this site that involves anything other than two willing, consenting, heterosexual partners who aren't cheating on their significant others, or related by law or marriage "could" qualify as Taboo. But since we've got ALL THESE FUCKING CATEGORIES of stories, what's the problem of putting the story IN THE RIGHT CATEGORY? Holy Fuck! It's like there are "trolls" (or tree-huggers who believe "everyone is a winner") out there who just want to "stir things up" or give the author a participation award.
