I didn't know what to really expect when I started this story. I read the description and thought it was a good read. When I got to reading the story itself, I was surprised at the romance in it. I think you did an awesome job and I want to say keep writing. I also want to say if this was an actual happening in real life, I am sorry that you lost your other half in life. That was a good read and definitely reflected the era. It sounded like it might be as true story, in which case, you did even better to write about it. What a lucky lad to find a kind guy like Sandy; I'm sure most of the guests were a lot less caring and just took advantage of the young "slaves".
