It could've done with a meaty backstory because we don't know much about the main character to get properly invested. But I'm curious where this is heading...

Now I want to know who "ME" is! And if I had to gander based on your user name "ME" was once a man and is now transgender. Inquiring minds want to know - so waiting for chapter 2.
