I sure like where and how this is going, a change so big just because of a girl is a lot to take in so I really hope he doesn't screw this up. Bet that moms supper will do the trick and ease his aching heart for a moment or two to allow a concious thought through. He sure has a lot of eyes on him so I'm stoked to see how he does it for real for the first time.

I can't understand why you didn't combine both of these chapters into one. You have the making of a very good story here. I certainly hope the next chapter is a lot longer. Can't wait for the next chapter ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My only comment would be this short of a chapter reminds me of just starting something when it ends already. "Snippets" for want of a better word take away from the story a bit...at least for me!
