Right bank, you are of course correct; the story is set in September, during the equinox, not the solstice. That got by me in the proofreading. As for the story being incredible because of mixed cultures, the reenactment group I based “The Company” on is known for its eclectic mixture of historical periods, cultures and ceremonies. They never let little things like facts get in the way of a good party!
