Kallie stepped into the room quietly hoping to not wake Alex. She heard him stir as she closed the door.

"Hey there," he said softly. His voice clearly showing he still was not feeling one hundred percent.

"How ya feeling hun?" she asked as she sat on the edge of the bed, resting a hand on his leg.

"I can still feel this thing rocking. But I feel better than I did" he said with a little grin.

"I hope you feel better tomorrow, I'd really hate for you to feel this way the rest of the trip," she said as she bent down and kissed his cheek. "You get some rest, I'm going to jump in the shower," she whispered as she stood.

Kallie slipped out of her dress and grabbed her pj's before walking into the bathroom. She stood under the shower letting the hot water run over her thinking only of Carter, wondering what it would be like to have him there with her. She stepped from the shower and toweled of. As she slipped the pink satin nighty on she caught her image in the mirror. Something about her looked different. A certain glow or something. She wasn't sure what it was, but she couldn't help but smile.

She started to brush through her hair and stepped from the bathroom. She heard Alex breathing deeply, just short of snoring and knew she was nowhere near being able to fall asleep so she quietly walked through the cabin, setting the brush on the little table before stepping to the sliding door and onto the veranda. The feel and smell of the ocean breeze was invigorating as she stepped to the railing. Her eyes were instantly drawn to the bright moon and the light it cast on the waves. She closed her eyes imagining Carter standing behind her with his arms wrapped around her, her head leaning back into his chest

She smiled as she heard his voice whisper that it was a beautiful night...

****

Carter closed the door and heard Jess stir lightly in the bed. He stepped into the bathroom for a quick shower before heading to bed. As the water hit him, his mind instantly went to Kallie, wondering what she was doing, was she in the shower also. He wondered too what it would be like to have her there with him. He quickly shook the thought from his head and finished his shower. He toweled off and wrapped the towel around his waist before combing through his hair. He looked in the mirror and shook his head as he realized there were a couple more grey hairs. He hoped it didn't matter to Kallie like he had told him in their chats.

He stepped from the room and soon realized Jess was sound asleep. He slipped on his lounge pants, sat in one of the chairs by the door to the veranda looking out at the moon for a few seconds before opening the door as quietly as possible, and stepped out. He was leaning on the railing listening to and watching the wake of the boat, thinking about how the trip had changed so much in the last few hours. Kallie surprising him by getting her and Alex on the boat was amazing.

He lifted his head and looked at the moon before slowly turning to look in the direction of Kallies room, again wondering what she was doing and amazed that she was only those few feet away from him instead of all those miles. He looked back at the moon and when he looked back to her veranda he saw her delicate fingers resting on the railing. He chuckled softly before leaning out over the railing and saying "beautiful night isn't it."

Kallies eyes snapped open when she realized his voice wasn't just in her head. She peaked around the divider on her veranda and smiled when she saw him leaning over the railing looking at her.

"Hey you," she said, her smile broadening as she rested her elbows on the railing.

"I was just thinking about you," he replied, slowly extending his hand, reaching for her.

"You were? I was thinking about you too," she said extending her hand toward his. They sighed at the same time knowing they could not reach each other. She noticed a slight change in the look on his face and soon realized the strap of her nighty had slipped from her shoulder. The realization made her blush at first, then a thought.

"We do have all week," she said as she pulled her hand back. "We really should get to bed."

"You're right," was Carters simple reply before blowing her a kiss.

Kallies reply to the kiss was different than Carter thought it would be. With her eyes locked on his, she slowly pulled the strap down a little further until she could feel the ocean breeze on her bare nipple, hardening it.

"A little something for you to dream about," she said with a wink before then blowing him a kiss and turning to the door, stepping inside with a soft giggle.

Carter stood unable to move, blinking at the empty space where Kallie had just flashed him. He shook his head with a chuckle and turned to the door.

Carter woke the next morning wondering if it had all been a dream. He glanced over and saw Jess still sound asleep so he gently slipped from the bed. He took his jacket from the hook he had hung it on the night before and instantly knew it wasn't all a dream. Kallie was on the boat. He took the coat and sprayed a little of his cologne on it to hide the over powering scent of her perfume before hanging it in the closet. As he closed the door her heard Jess stirring in bed and looked over at her with a smile.

"Good morning hun," he said as he walked to the bed. He bent down and kissed her on the cheek, feeling a little bad knowing what was going on in his head, but also knowing he had to keep up appearances as it were.

"Good morning. What time did you get in? I didn't hear a thing," Jess said as she sat on the edge of the bed.

"It wasn't too late, around mid-night I think. Kallie and I sat and talked for a little while. She had a ton of questions about cruising and what to expect", Carter replied, continuing to put his clothes away and find his shorts for their first day at sea.

Since it was simply that, a day at sea, most of it would probably be spent pool side so he found a pair of swim trunks "Are you getting up?" he asked Jess as he slipped them on with a t-shirt. "I'm hungry, I want some breakfast," he said as he turned to watch her stretch as she stood from the bed.

"I want to take a shower and do my hair. How about you go down and I'll meet you by the pool. Save me a seat" Jess said as she walked past him headed for the shower, stopping briefly to give him a kiss.

Carter just shook his head as Jess closed bathroom door. Why did it not surprise him she was behind her self-imposed schedule? Oh well, her loss, he thought as he headed out the door.

****

Kallie woke the next morning and found the bed next to her empty. She noticed the bathroom door was closed and she hoped Alex wasn't still battling the motion sickness. Once she woke up more she noticed she could hear the shower running. She knew that was a good sign. She knew he would not be in the shower if he were still sick. She rolled over and smiled, both at the thought of him feeling better, and at the memory of the night before. She giggled lightly as she swung her feet from the bed and stood, walked to the sliding door and opened it. The smell of the ocean breeze wafted over her and she imagined this being as close to paradise as she could get. She stepped onto the veranda and leaned over the railing slightly, looking towards Carter and Jess's veranda, half hoping he would be there, half glad he wasn't.

"Hey babe," she heard from behind her and turned seeing Alex walking across the room. "You look amazing with the sun behind you like that," he said as he leaned on the doorframe.

"Glad to see you feel better," Kallie said as she walked towards him, kissing him lightly as she walked past. "It's my turn in the bathroom. Stop that!" she said to him with a giggle as he patted her on the ass as she walked by.

Kallie smiled again thinking about Carter feeling better. She really didn't want him miserable for the entire trip. Part of her knew if he were, she would never get him to take another vacation, especially not a cruise. When she stepped from the bathroom, Alex was laying on the bed flipping through the channels on the TV. He quickly got up and went into the bathroom, carrying a magazine. Kallie just shook her head knowing he would be a little while. Luckily, her hairbrush was still on the table. She brushed through her hair as she looked through the swimsuits she had brought along and picked out one she knew Carter would like. Actually it was one he had found in one of their sillier chats. She slipped the little pink bikini on and looked at herself in the mirror, smiling to herself as she did. She had to admit, the man did have good taste.

She slipped her cover up/sundress on just as Alex came out of the bathroom. "Wow, that was quick," she said with a wink, teasing him.

"And you're ready to go already too?" he said walking up behind her and resting his hands on her hips as she pulled her hair back into a pony tail.

"Thank you," he said softly as their eyes met in the mirror.

"For what?" she asked, turning to face him.

"For making me come on this trip and for being so understanding yesterday," he said.

"I know you would have done the same for me hun. Now let's go get some food in you," she said turning and taking his hand.

Kallie and Alex walked hand in hand to the elevators. While they waited, Jess walked up "Good morning you two," she said with a strange smile. "You look much better than you did last night," she said looking at Alex.

Kallie noticed a little color come to Alex's cheeks and laughed off him being embarrassed about being sick.

"Thanks. I feel a lot better too," Alex replied.

As they walked off the elevator, Jess saw Carter sitting by her parents and invited Kallie and Alex to join them. Kallie explained they planned to just have some fruit and a bagel for breakfast and were going to eat by the pool.

"Well, then, we'll just have to hook up later then," Jess said as she walked towards Carter.

"Yes we will," Alex replied watching Jess leave before heading to find them a couple of chairs poolside.

****

Carter walked into the buffet restaurant got a little breakfast and sat down with Jess's parents. They asked where Jess was and all it took was a look from Carter for them to know that she was still in their cabin getting ready. Shortly after the question, he felt a hand on his shoulder and turned to see Jess standing beside him.

"Speak of the devil," he said with a wink. She said good morning to her parents before heading to get a little bite. She returned to the table just as he was finishing his breakfast.

"Here hun, you can have my chair. I will go find us somewhere by the pool. You can join me when ever," Carter said as he stood. He left the restaurant and walked onto the pool deck to have a look around and see how busy it was. As he turned he almost bumped into Alex.

"Hey bud, you're looking better," he said with a grin. "I've been there myself so I know what you're going through," Carter said, patting Alex on the shoulder.

"Yeah, yesterday was a little rough. I hope it goes better today," Alex replied.

"Just make sure to drink plenty of water, eat a little at a time and don't think about it and you should be all right," Carter said calling on his experience on their first cruise.

"Kallie's doing just that right now. She went to get us a little bite while I find us some deck chairs. Why don't we find some chairs?" Alex asked motioning towards the pool area.

Carter and Alex walked around the pool once before deciding to try the upper deck, there finding the chairs they thought the women would want. They were both amazed at how fast the pool decks were filling up. But, then again, it was a beautiful day and the sun was the main reason most of the people were on the boat. They laid out towels on chairs for themselves and for their wives before settling in.

Shortly Kallie came through the door, carrying a couple of plates for her and Alex. Carter's eyes were glued to her, watching every move she made, the gentle sway of her hips, she wind blowing little whisps of her pony tail around. He smiled at the realization of how beautiful she truly was. She hadn't been able to put her sunglasses on before coming into the sun so Carter clearly saw the little wink she gave him. He smiled which made Alex turn in her direction. Carter promptly returned the wink after seeing Alex wasn't looking at him.

"Jess is eating with her parents," Kallie said as she handed Alex a plate.

"Yep, I gave up my chair to her," Carter replied. For some reason he was suddenly nervous, wondering what the day would bring, wondering how he would be able to keep his hands off her. Carter leaned back on the chair and closed his eyes, worried that if he thought about it to much or looked at her much longer some of his thoughts would become blatantly obvious. He was stirred back to reality when he sensed the movement next to him. He looked as Alex stood from his chair to bring their plates away.

"Good morning you," Kallie said with a smile as she squirmed a little on her chair, maneuvering to take her sundress off.

"Good morning to you too," Carter replied. "I never thought I'd be able to say that to you..." his sentence stopped short as Kallie pulled the sundress off revealing the bikini she had on under it. She stood to adjust her towel, giving Carter a complete view of just how well the hot pink bikini fit her.

"Oh my god," he said softly. "I knew that would be perfect for you," he said dropping his sunglasses down his nose.

Kallie sat back down before she replied "You like it hu? When we booked the cruise I just knew I had to get it," she said smiling at him.

"You're not making this easy," he said as is eyes paused in their trip over her body at her belly button to admire the little dangling charm hanging there.

"I didn't plan to," was her reply as she fished in her bag for her suntan lotion.

Carter couldn't help but moan softly as she started to rub it into her skin. Suddenly, thankful he saw Alex and Jess walking towards them talking.

"Move over a chair," Jess said to Carter, wanting to sit next to Kallie so they could talk. "That way you guys can talk about guy stuff," she said. "I love your bikini Kallie," she said as Carter moved.

"Thanks, I had some help picking it out. The person who helped sure knew what they were talking about," Kallie replied smiling in Carters general direction.

****

The rest of the morning went by with them chatting lightly amongst the four of them. A few of Jess's family stopped and talked with them, but none of them stayed for long, which Carter was glad of. He enjoyed spending time with them, but he didn't want them around in case him and Kallie had a chance to talk alone.

Alex said to Carter "Dude, my stomach is starting to rumble. I think we need something to eat."

"I could eat something too," Kallie said, obviously overhearing.

Jess and Carter decided it was probably a good idea too. The only debate was who would leave the warm sun to get some food. Kallie decided for her and Alex with a simple comment. "Your turn, I got breakfast," she said laying a hand on Alex's arm. Carter was about to volunteer when Jess quickly said she would go with him to get her and Carter something too. Something about it seemed a little odd to Carter, but nothing worth mentioning or worrying about.

"That's odd," he said to Kallie as they walked away.

"What's that hun?" Kallie asked.

"Usually once we're in the sun like this Jess doesn't want to leave it. I'm just a little surprised she offered so quickly is all," he said with a shrug.

"But it gives us a little time alone so don't think to hard about it," Kallie said with a smile.

He wanted to move next to her, to take her in his arms and kiss her like he had the night before but he knew it was to risky with Jess's family roaming around. "My god you look amazing," he said just loud enough for her to hear.

She responded simply by dropping her sunglasses enough for him to see her wink and extend her hand toward him. He did the same and their finger tips brushed for just a moment. It didn't take long for Alex and Jess to return with the food. Just a light lunch to help soak up some of the alcohol they would probably be drinking that afternoon. After they finished eating, a pool waiter came by and took their plates as well as their drink order. Alex didn't order anything but said, "There's a movie showing and Jess and I thought we should go."

"A movie?" Carter asked.

"We can go to a movie at home," Kallie added.

"What movie is it?" Carter asked.

"Fast and Furious," Jess replied.

Carter knew she wanted to see it because she was a BIG time Vin Diesel fan. "I'm not going, but you can if you want. I'm staying in the sun," he said to Jess.

"I agree," was all Kallie said.

"Well, it starts in about twenty minutes so we should go if we're going because we need to drop stuff off at our cabins," Jess said looking at Alex.

"Let's do it," Alex replied. "Watching a pre-release movie while floating around the Caribbean sounds pretty cool to me," he said as he stood.

After they left, Carter and Kallie talked while they waited for their drinks.

"Oh, shit. I have something I wanted to show you. Wait here, I just have to run to the cabin quick and get it. Will you watch my stuff?" he said slipping his t-shirt on.

"No problem babe," Kallie replied, puckering her lips toward him in a mock kiss.

****

Alex and Jess walked to their rooms, dropped off their things and met back in the hallway. Jess had grabbed her little map of the ship so they could find their way to the screening room. It was easier to find than she first thought it would be. Alex got them popcorn while Jess got them sodas. They walked into the theater and were shocked at the seats. They were more like home theater seats than actual movie theater seats.

"No wonder they call it the screening room," he said with a grin.

They sat and waited for the movie to start talking casually, munching on their popcorn and sipping on their soda. The room started to fill as the lights went down. As the lights went down, somehow Jess's hand found Alex's and just rested on the top of it. The usual previews started, lighting the room. Jess started to pull her hand away, but it was quickly in Alex's grasp. She looked over at him and he just smiled in return.

****

Carter walked quickly to their cabin, taking the stairs instead of waiting for the elevator. He got to the room and rummaged around for a moment finding his i-Pod. He was just turning to the door when he heard a knock. He opened the door only to be surprised by Kallie pushing him into the room and closing the door. She dropped their things on the floor and went to him wrapping her arms around his neck, pulling his lips to hers. Carter's hands went around her waist, holding her tightly to him.

"We have a couple of hours," Kallie whispered as their kiss broke.

"And what do you think we should do with those couple of hours," he replied teasingly.

Kallie responded without words. She pulled herself free from his grasp, stepped back and slid the straps of her sun dress from her shoulders letting it fall to the floor.

"Give you any ideas?" she asked, her voice taking on a sultry playful sound.

He stepped towards her, only to be stopped by her hand on his chest.

"Not so fast bucko," she said with a wink. She dropped her hand "I'll show you mine if you how me yours," she added licking her lips lightly.

He looked at her with a bit of a confused look and decided to test her. He took off his right sandal, she did the same. He took off his left sandal, she did the same. He started to lift his t-shirt, but she stopped him and looked into his now confused eyes. Kallie cleared up his confusion by slowly lifting the shirt up and over his head. Carter bent down and kissed her softly as his hands moved, finding the little buckle at the back of her bikini. He unhooked the bottom strap and slid his hand up to the string at the back of her neck. He paused for a moment, looking her in the eyes.
