Belongs in romance category

And at the top of the list. It's delightful, tender, loving and makes me profoundly jealous. I could feel her vulnerability (I have, in fact) but it ended so nicely. Many thanks. Beth in Chicago.

The Artist's Gaze

I never wanted to chat with nude models during figure drawing sessions, in college or later at different community classes. You are right to assume that the artists treated them like inanimate objects. I always felt if I knew their personalities it would influence my drawings, specifically if I didn't like them or turned out not to like them. Like if they had turned out to be creepy - I wouldn't have wanted to spend hours looking at them, you know?

I liked how in your story the model gets frustrated and calls him out on it. You did a good job understanding artists.

More showing instead of telling with more dialogue would have made this an even better read for me. Nice job and good luck in the contest!
