The Eye

Adonis turned back to the ceiling and back to wondering how the thing in his back works. Could it be possible for him to control it by using his mind? Or did it have a mind of its own?

All these questions and Adonis had no idea how to answer any of them. It was to the point he was getting tired of trying to solve mysteries and keep up his education at the same time.

Adonis closed his eyes and suddenly went to sleep.

Adonis woke up by the sound of his cell ringing. He reached inside his pocket and took out the cell pressing talk and put it up too his left ear. "Hello?"

"What's up A?" Kevin greeted on the other side of the phone. Which was strange, Adonis didn't remember giving him his number.

"Hi," Adonis answered suspiciously.

"Yo bro there is some fine honeys over here who want to meet you," Kevin explained, "I told them all about you and how cool you are."

Adonis felt like he had enough pieces of ass for one night. "No thank you, I'll be fine."

"Oh come on A," Kevin begged, "lighten up some will ya. You are going to pass down these fine pussies just so you can study?"

Adonis rose up out of bed. By the sound of Kevin's voice something was up. "What are you talking about?"

"Heh, I got you one pussy that you may recognize," Kevin said and Adonis heard the cell being passed over.

"Hey Adonis?" Adonis's eyes widened in surprise. He recognized that voice anywhere. It was Jessica Kane! "What are you doing?"

Adonis didn't know what to say. How in the hell did Kevin know about him and Jessica? "I-I'm just lying in bed that's all."

"Would you like to lie with me?" Jessica asked seductively.

Adonis looked at his cell wondering if he was hearing correctly. Jessica Kane asking for round two. Was this some sort of prank that Adonis could easily fall for? And how in the hell did Kevin persuade her to do this? "I-I guess so?"

Adonis heard a playful laugh from Jessica. "You're cute. Come on over so we can party together."

Adonis heard the phone being given to someone else.

"Hey bro, did you hear that?" Kevin asked.

"Yeah," Adonis answered dumbfounded, "yeah I heard it."

"Why don't you come on over so we can party? We are at the math building."

With that said, Kevin suspiciously hung up.

Adonis couldn't help but wonder what the hell just happened? How did Kevin get Jessica Kane to seduce him behind Billy Day's back? And didn't she tell Billy about the two of them earlier? And how did Kevin convince Jessica to speak with him in the first place?

Adonis's mind was filled with so many questions that his head was starting to hurt.

When Adonis was alone with the women, he was secure in his sexuality. But with Kevin it felt strange. Something told Adonis that this was not a good idea. But curiosity got the better of him and he picked up his jacket and his keys and walked out of his dorm room hoping that good things would come ahead.

The Town That Dreaded Sundown

Adonis walked out of his dorm and onto the streets. The pole lights were lit even though, traces of the sun's light were still in the sky. Adonis headed over to the math building which was pretty strange since the math building should have been closed and locked tight.

Still if they were having some type of study group, which was highly unlikely, maybe it was opened just for a few hours. And Adonis hoped that Kevin did not set up some type of orgy for the both of them. Sharing with other men was not his style.

"Hey fucker!" Adonis turned to the rude voice beside him. It was Billy Day and he was wearing his football uniform.

"Hey Billy," Adonis responded fearfully, "what are you doing with your uniform on?"

"Me and you are going to play a game," Billy threatened.

Adonis did not like where this is going. "A game, tonight?"

"Yeah," Billy answered putting on his helmet, "it's called, "You get my girl I'll get you".

Adonis swallowed hard. His heart was beating so fast he thought it was going to pop out of his chest the same way the creature popped out of his back. "I don't think I want to play this game?"

"That's the beauty of it," Billy said coming menacingly towards Adonis, "you don't have a choice."

That was Adonis's cue to run for his life. As he sped off in the other direction he could hear footsteps coming from behind. Billy Day was an all-star athlete, so it wasn't a surprise that he was catching up with Adonis.

Adonis felt a strong push from his back and he fell stomach first on the grass.

"Score!" Billy Day cheered.

Adonis turned over to look up at the man who was about to decide his fate. Billy bent down and picked Adonis up off the ground by his collar.

"You ready for your pounding?" Billy threatened.

Adonis was scared at first, but then something strange happened. Adonis started feeling energy building up inside of him. Energy he never felt before. Adonis grabbed Billy's wrists with his bare hands and squeezed them as hard as he could. Billy squealed in pain and had no choice but to free Adonis from his grasp. Adonis pushed Billy back so hard he almost tumbled over.

"Wow Adonis," Billy said standing on his own two feet, "you got some power behind that push. Too bad it's not enough to stop me completely."

Billy bent over and charged aiming his helmet directly at Adonis's stomach. With his new found energy, Adonis dodged him and at the same time trapped his legs with his own and tripped him helmet first in the grass.

Annoyed Billy pounded the ground and jumped back up to get another shot at Adonis.

Adonis prepared for another attack. This time he wrapped his arm around Billy's left arm and flipped him over back on the ground.

Ready to end this once and for all, Adonis reached for the helmet and forced it off of Billy leaving his head exposed.

"Hey Billy," Adonis spoke looking down at Billy hard, "who's the tough guy now?"

Adonis gave him a strong left hook knocking Billy out cold.

Adonis stood up staring down at the passed out Billy Day. Why would he attack him like that and why so brutally? Something told Adonis that Kevin had something to do with this, but how?

Adonis turned to the other side of the campus. Leaving Billy where he was, Adonis headed for the math building knowing how strong he is because the mutation in his back. He was going to get some answers and finally or hopefully stop this madness once and for all.

The Eye Of The Beholder

Adonis took his time walking to the math building at the end of the campus. While staring up at the two storied building, Adonis wondered how in the hell did this place stay open after dark? The doors should be locked by now.

Adonis went up to the double glass doors. He looked through the doors and saw how dark the hallway was. With one hand Adonis opened the door with ease. Surprised that the door was unlocked, Adonis walked inside of the dark building.

After handling Billy Day, Adonis felt confident that he could take on anything that crossed his path.

Adonis walked over to the elevator and pressed the button, "UP". The elevator doors opened and Adonis stepped in. As he turned around to face the outside, the elevator doors closed.

As Adonis waited for the elevator to reach the floor, he couldn't help but think what was awaiting for him at the top.

As the elevator doors opened, Adonis walked into the math building's library. The library itself was dark but Adonis could see just a little from the light of the moon.

As Adonis slowly made his way in the library, he looked around to see if anyone was there even though it was hard to see. But there was one light Adonis could see. He went to the light to see that it was coming from a classroom.

Carefully making his way to the classroom, Adonis entered looking around. He turned to see Jessica Kane lying horizontally on the wooden desk in front of the class. And there standing behind the desk was his supposedly bestfriend, Kevin Rodulph.

"Wow, you made it," Kevin spoke with a creepy smile, "I am really impressed."

"Cut the shit Kevin," Adonis ordered, "what the hell is going on here?"

Kevin looked down at the unconscious Jessica and used her hand to pet her blonde and brunette hair backwards. "She's hot isn't she? Just to think, I've been wanting to hit this ever since I saw her. Only reason I didn't was because I don't like sloppy seconds."

"You still haven't answered my question," Adonis told him.

"You know before you came to this school, I was having all the fun around here?" Kevin spoke redirecting the question. "Then you come along and all this shit happens. You take my girls, screw my women, and think you can just do whatever you want just because you have some special gift."

Adonis's eyes widened in surprise. Did Kevin know about his abilities all along?

"What are you talking about?" Adonis asked even though he already knew the answer.

"I'm talking about that thing that's inside you," Kevin answered shocking Adonis even more, "that thing that is taken over my school. You think you can just roll up in here and do whatever you want? There are consequences!"

Adonis swallowed hard as he kept his eyes on Kevin. "You know what this thing is? Do you know who did this to me?"

Kevin looked like the questions Adonis was asking were pissing him off. "They are called, The Kerr'els. Apparently they like experimenting with pieces of shit like you so they can see what you can do with it and how it affects society as a whole. And speaking of, " It", that thing inside you is a parasite."

"No shit," Adonis said.

"No you idiot," Kevin retorted, "That thing is really a parasite. It lives in your body like a bug. The only problem is that it seems to do you some good instead of bad."

"If you know so much about these things then who the hell are you?" Adonis asked wanting to get to the bottom of this.

"I'm the one going to stop you from fucking with my bitches and my territory!" Kevin accused. Kevin came around the desk where Jessica lay. "Now, can we start this or what?"

Adonis balled up his fist angrily and marched towards Kevin ready to punch him in his face. But Kevin beat him too it by punching him in the chest. With such power Adonis fell backwards sliding across the floor.

"Not so easy taking on an all-star athlete huh?" Kevin taunted.

Unfazed by Kevin's strength Adonis got back up ready to go at it again. He marched over and began throwing a punch at Kevin. Kevin dodged it and came back with a hook punch but Adonis ducked as well. Adonis decided to take another turn instead of the face and uppercut Kevin in the stomach.

"Oof!" Kevin spat as he bent over wrapping his arms around his stomach.

Adonis stood smiling at his first strike at the asshole who pretended to be his friend. "Not bad for a business major huh?"

Kevin looked up at Adonis with an acid look on his face. "You're going to pay for that!"

"Bring it!" Adonis taunted as he was about to step forward to have another go at it, hopefully beating Kevin with an inch of his life. But he paused as he felt something in his body, something that was wrong. Adonis got down on his hands and knees as he felt the movement in his back. "Damnit," Adonis cried knowing this was not the time or the place for it to pop out of nowhere, "not now, please God not now!"

The parasite crawled up Adonis's spinal cord and made its way tearing through the flesh.

Kevin watched unsurprised by the living creature shooting out of Adonis's back. The bowling ball size eyelid opened up and the dark red reptilian eye stared down at Kevin.

"So that's what it looks like?" Kevin said not impressed.

Adonis stood up taking off his jacket revealing his plain white shirt. Both Adonis and the eye stared at Kevin who looked like he was going to do something.

Then the eye shined its red light on Kevin.

"Aaahhh!" Kevin screamed as he closed his eyes and covered his face from the light. "Stop it!"

Adonis watched as Kevin screamed in agony. Adonis only saw the light seduce women but never saw how it had an effect on men. By the look of Kevin as he grunted and screamed in pain, it was to the point that Adonis felt sorry for the poor bastard and wanted the eye to stop. But then Adonis saw what was happening to Kevin and his eyes widened in shock.

Kevin's veins started pulsing balding like they were about to burst out of his head. Suddenly his head began to bulge upwards in the shape of a big wide cylinder. His right eye grew big while the other shortened. His stomach bulged into a big round ball. What was once a tall, clear cut muscled, and sexy athlete was now a big headed, awkward shaped eyed and morbidly obese mutant.

"Jesus," Adonis finally spoke staring at the horrid thing before him, "did I do that?"

"No you dumbass," Kevin asked but his voice sounded awkward like he had a frog down his throat, "this is what I really look like!"

Adonis stepped back a little staring in horror at what used to be his bestfriend who, by the power of the dark red eye, revealed its true self.

"What the hell are you?" Adonis asked too shocked to keep his eyes off of the creature. "Are you one of them?"

"You idiot," Kevin spat acidly, "do I look like one of them? And why would I give you that on your back?"

It was a good question Adonis had to admit. "So what now?"

"Now since you've seen my true nature," Kevin spoke sounding villainous, "you get a front row seat to what I can do."

Suddenly Adonis felt a sharp pain in his brain. It was so painful that he grabbed both sides of his temples and fell down on his knees screaming.

"You feel that?" Kevin asked even though it was a stupid question. "That's me inside your head. I guess all your pet can do is get you laid and that's it!"

Adonis got down on his hands and knees still screaming from the pain that was hitting his brain.

"I'm going to make your head so big it's going to explode!" Kevin threatened.

Adonis thought that what he was feeling meant that it was his end. That was until the eye did something that both Adonis and Kevin didn't anticipate.

The dark red eye glowed blue and a light blue laser shot out of the eye hitting Kevin in his shoulder.

"Aaaahhhh!" Kevin screamed as he held his shoulder with a big hole in it. "You motherfucker!"

The psychic attack stopped and the pain numbed away from Adonis's brain. Adonis stood back up staring down at the obese monster who, thanks to the eye from his back, broke the psychic hold it had over Adonis's brain.

"I guess the eye does more than just get me laid." Adonis shot back.

"I'm going to kill you," The mutant Kevin threatened, "I'm going to make you castrate yourself so every time I'm in the mood, you'll be bending over for me!"

The eye above Adonis started to glow blue again.

"Yeah," Adonis spoke shaking his head, "that's not going to happen."

With that said the eye shot out another blue laser hitting Kevin in his tumor like head.

"NOOOO!" The mutant Kevin screamed in pain as he got a taste of his own medicine.

Adonis watched as Kevin's tumor head glowed red breaking through the skin, cracking the skull open, and revealed its oversized brain. Adonis wanted to take cover knowing what was going to happen next, but knew if he hid the laser would stop hitting Kevin and he couldn't take that chance in it escaping.

Kevin's brain was penetrated causing it to boil up and bubble.

BOOM!

Adonis turned away covering his face with his arm as Kevin's enormous tumor like head blew into many bloody pieces of skin and brain matter. The whole classroom was a mess.

Adonis uncovered his eyes and looked at Jessica who was still unconscious and lightly covered in Kevin's blood and brains. Adonis walked over to the desk stepping over and accidently stepping in the blood and ooze that was once his bestfriend.

Adonis stood over his ex who still was asleep from Kevin's spell. He wanted to use his newfound gift to open her eyes and look up at her savior. But something told Adonis that it was wrong. Instead he came up with another idea that would make everyone happy.

Aftermath

Adonis watched as Billy Day and Jessica Kane walked holding each other's hands. He sighed disappointedly but relieved that everything was over. After the tumultuous fight he had with the mutant Kevin, Adonis asked around talking and describing him to students and teachers of his whereabouts. Turns out nobody has heard or seen him before. Adonis was the only living witness to ever know about him and defeat him, waking the whole campus out of its trance and bringing it back to normal.

Adonis watched sadly as Jessica stopped Billy in their tracks and suddenly kissed each other passionately. They were truly in love.

Adonis sighed again getting up from his chair in the cafeteria and walking away. He experienced what it was like with Jessica and enjoyed it. But her heart belonged to someone else. Having to admit that to himself was hard but there was nothing he could do about it except hypnotize her over and over again. But that wouldn't be fun at all. He rather find a woman that loved him for him and not be in a trance every time he tried to get with her.

As Adonis walked away he realized that he and the creature hidden in his back were one. Even though he didn't get the girl, he had one thing that will stay with him for the rest of his life. What Adonis thought was a curse; he finally realized that whoever they are up there gave him a gift.
