Overwrought prose

A fair story, but far too melodramatic; the writing is stilted and overwrought, the construction is clumsy, and there were a couple of real howlers; for instance, "This will not be unforgotten"... Huh? I think you mean "forgotten."<p>

I give points for the idea, but for someone with a Master's degree, this should be a lot better.

New Angle

A new angle on a story of forced marriage. For me the charracters lived and that meant you held my attention.

Hey GToast, just a thought maybe you could be less poisonous with the pen and allow she was rushed, and did not edit? My penny worth is to ask what does your dig at education have to do with story telling? Now I am going to read all yours and boy oh boy you had better measure up! 2M
