I liked the new characters introduced. They came as a bit of a surprise, yet it's logical they would have asked officers initially before going on to lower ranks. I expected a bit more dialogue with the General as an after-action report or debriefing. His outburst seemed out of proportion but I can see his stress.
Alice's tactics of division & negotiation are paying off, with her new bunk mates as well as the scientists. She's getting a chance to build real relationships so they see her as a person, not just a toy.
Did anyone else notice that line that Givens threw out so angrily? That the men are within a hair's breadth of being killed? So whatever they are working on involves powerful forces that are potentially dangerous. Interesting. I'm guessing we are going to learn more about this scientific breakthrough.
