She objects to her kidnapper and would-be rapist being punished? This was a very common punishment of the era and was not considered at all unusual or cruel. People were hung for far less serious crimes back then while crowds watched for their own entertainment.

Hey it's been awhile since you updated the story, and you said you've already written more, ignore the nasty comments. Even if you handed some people gold they would still complain, and I love this story :) do you think you could continue with the chapters? :D
