I open my eyes realizing I was breathing hard, my chest rising and falling with each breath. I slowly catch my breath.

Anonymousabout 3 years agoAfter the first two paragraphs i could tell that this was a 2* story. I put it down during the first reading (i thought here is a student of the MM school of f*****d up logic) . The outcome did surprise. I settled on 3.5*
This story is a perfect example of a individual who doesn't appreciate what she has. I was hoping for a good REVENGE:
The son catches them in the act, disavows the mom, and doesn't want anything to do with the roommate who needs Brandon as a tudor constantly to stay on the baseball team.
Mom tries to bring a heavy hand with 20 y/o son who in a fit of rage asks his dad why a good man would put up with a tramp..indirectly. Dad eventually catches on and asks the son who tells him what he saw. Dad is so pissed off he makes a lot of life changes...divorces the wife who had gotten bitter for no reason(frustration) , gets healthy, loses 75lbs, gets heavily into martials arts to keep the weight off.
Colt's lifee goes downhill. He hates the mom now because his ticket to the big leagues post college has evaporated with Brandon's college tutelage. Brandon is focused and determined like his dad. He gets drafted and makes the big show 2 years after he leaves college. He still refuses to have anything to do with Colt. Who ends up going to jail and becomes the prison b***h.
Brandon's problem with Colt he tried to destroy his once happy family when he could have had any girl at school he wants, but chose his mom. After the divorce Brandon's dad becomes a successful businessman with all the new focus on physical activity. He attacks his work like an opponent thinking it Colt for destroying his happy life. Previously he'd never beat him in a fight but he was good motivation going forward.
Mom is continually bitter she only gets alimony for 3 years and has to find a job. She gains 50 lbs and has lost her so called great figure because she can't spend 5 hours at the gym everyday and support herself.
Not a great life for a little fun. The writing was very good but the concept sucked. Cheers.
