Five stars from me. Part one was terrific, and its hard to imagine it getting any better, but I've read some of your other stuff so it wouldn't surprise me if it did. Fantastic work!

Great start, very hot and fun. It's raised so many questions. Can't wait for the following sections to answer them

The build up, the background, all of it's done wonderfully. I have paid for books that weren't as well written as this! Only downside, is it was far to short!

Realistic characters and interesting, natural dialogue make this fantasy plot work well. Loved the way you used references to Japanese culture without making it the main focus and without asides from the narrator to explain everything, since she doesn't have to. Pacing was great. I'll look forward to more of this, but I think this chapter stands alone fine on its own merits.

Why did their names change to Hanako and Juno at times? Did you rewrite it at some point?

Juno was a placeholder name. After I changed it, I still sometimes typed Juno instead of Akiko. I guess I missed it!
