Good prose style

Reads well and the dialogue is better than average. But, her doctor can't have a romantic relationship with her. IRL, he would have declined to treat her in order to have a romantic relationship with her. Big, big trouble if he romances a patient. I've seen it happen and guys lose their licenses.

Thanks for reading and commenting. Kirk treated Veronica BEFORE he got involved romantically. Recall that they had dinner afterward, and then the romance began.

I read this years ago...and just noticed at the end of story you refer to Chrissie's parents and her attending the wedding.... Who are the parents....ex and stepfather maybe???
