Nice (so far) on both counts! How many 'second orgasms' can a wife have?

The story idea is great, not original. You have the talent to make this a very
entertaining good time.
Unfortunately, I have avoided this writer. The Melinda and husband series got too
convoluted and I gave up on it. I should probably go back. Then I read what WWM
calls an interlude ,I think. Where I read about Off. Torres.I tried to read a previous
murder mystery but couldn't get interested. My mistake.
I guess I'm trying to say that every writer should get 2nd and 3rd chances . If a story
is disagreeable because of a plot or technical( english writing) issues don't give up
on him or her. Time for me to do my bit for WifeWatchman.

Love this series, but only found through Interlude 9 before this one.
Interlude 10 hasn't been published yet, but will be coming soon. It has no bearing on The Murdered Football Player mystery, which you can try to solve without reading any other series. WW
After reading the lead paragraph about all the series, etc., I decided to move on. Seems like a serious commitment when all I want is some entertainment.
Thanks for the response re: Interlude 10. Wasn't sure if it might have had any bearing on this story. As usual, I gave you a 5. Love reading your work as well as RecHiker.

Years ago there was a TV show, about Vampires, who are out in the open. A football player dies while having sex with a female vampire. The Vampires worry how to spin this, so it won't be a PR disaster for them. I forget the name of the series.
After reading this series, I went back to the beginning, Where Don and Melanie, and Laura first appear. In this series, Don is described, as having gone on active duty, after ROTC, then becoming a cop. In the original series, as well as the next part Interludes, he gets some sort of IT job straight out of college, gets hired by the campus police, and goes to the Police Academy at age 28.
In this series, Don is some sort of tough guy. In the original series, he's a candy ass wimp, and a willing cuck. I can understand, the author changing the story line, to toughen him up a bit. Even so, the author failed to fill in the gap of his missing years of active duty as an ROTC commissioned Army Officer. Totally inconsistent character development.
Yes, it's complicated and a long set of stories but I'm giving it a go and see the writer developing as the storyline progresses. Not a good memory so cannot remember all the details but, on balance, enjoying the journey so far
