I bet that Master is one of Daniel's teachers. Someone who would know the back story between Daniel and Joe & Shane. I mean.... That was a major coincidence that Master just happened along to find Daniel after Joe and Shane jumped him and how did Master find Daniel at his house so quickly. And he acts like a good teacher would, using praise as well as aversion to train Daniel and then his tormentors so quickly.

That's just my theory. I could be wrong. But, imagine the possibilities that would create after Master reveals himself to Daniel.
