As a reader of various venues, I am truly surprised at the author's efforts to fully develop the characters in depth and breadth. The detail with which the author developed the mother's upbring; the characters in her life prior to marriage; and how circumstance of life affected her development, enables the reader to understand with clarity how each character analyses current situations and mentally selects courses of action. This story is being logically developed. The plot and subplots are clearly defined. All the characters are believable. Finally, the author has avoided the pitfall of resorting to gutter grammar to express sexual intimacy, emotional and physical chemistry between characters. 5-star series.
