The whole backstory was good, not amazing and incredible, but very good. I really felt that the sex was rushed, and once the sex got started, story fell away completely. The difference between "Romance" and "Erotic Couplings" is not that there's no backstory in one. It's that "Romance" is what happens after the sex. I felt that there was a real loss here, the chapter 2 was simply pointless.
