Shifting pov or time frame can add to a story. Doing both and doing them multiple times gets tricky. Here I think the total of shifts weighs down a good plot. Too much effort must be spent keeping up making it difficult to enjoy the fun stuff. Keep the story going but try to streamline the shifts.

The back forth gets trying, use the young smart ass turning her into a cumdump.

A chapter later the two interweaved plot lines have not progressed at all. There is not one additional clue. Just some elaborations on a picture already sketched in ch2.
