I very much appreciate you throwing a very good curveball into this story. The action was beginning to lul, but we know there can't be a good story without good conflict. Everything was going smoothly, and now we have three characters that will be conflicted with their feelings IF they survive. There's so many places you can go with this interesting development, so don't screw it up! =)

things are going to be very very hard for everyone now, genzo will survive, that is a given but lins and the douche, will genzo have to make a hard choice with out permission, now that is going to be the thing

And I really like it. Somehow Genzo is going to save Linnsa but it might be tricky because he has to change forms in order to heal and to change her but he appears to be unconscious! Keep writing!
