Marty, You are like fine wine.... you just get better with age (and practice). Lydia and Brad have a great future ahead of them. The suspense and the surprise in the Dr's office are exquisite. You had just enough detail of eveything... but not too much.... The golden mean achieved. This is a beautifully crafted short story that begs for many more Chapters.... What a great twist to this story! A local lady had a similar polio leg and built-up shoe but she wasn't a therapist, mores the pity.
