Where is the rest of the story? There should be more pages or chapters. It can not be finished as it is. You have had plenty of time to work on it.

I very much enjoyed the story so far and would love to see an extension to it.

A reasonable start, needs filling out as how did he know Carol. Is Gerry/Lydia a prisoner? Like the premise.
