Very Nice

A very nice start to a story that I hope will continue to hold my attention.

Beast I've seen in quite a while here.

Excellent Story Line!

WOW! Chapter 1 was more than an interesting start throughout, keep it coming!

Great start to the story. I suppose it is a red herring, but all bets for now are on good ole Derek to be behind what happened to Allan.

Fine start

I'm enjoying it, but yes, it does seem like Sydney's right... Derek is the perfect bad guy.

and now you have my interest. Definately a snake in the woodpile here....Wonder how deep it goes?

I'm going to take a wild guess and predict

the fiance wanted Ann for himself,

arranged for the ambush of the husband, (from which Allan was not supposed to recover),

the phony PI report, implicating the husband as a cheating no good scoundrel,

so he could become the chief protector and comfort giver. Thereby replacing the long lost husband and taking control of the wealth and wife for himself.

i agree with rightbank about

where the story seems to be heading. But who cares, it's the journey, not the destination, that interests me. A great first episode, keep them coming.

Excellent First Chapter

The story is part Mystery, part Loving Wives, part Erotic Coupling. Everyone should be able to enjoy it if they are so disposed.

Plausible?

A millionaire goes missing and there's no Nationwide search! I dunno...

Finger printing

Why didn't the police do this at the beginning when he did not know who he was?

finger prints

can be taken of john doe's but with no record Allan would not be in any system to match them with. T

Rightbank

has got it right. That's my guess too.

fingerprints? probably not

Without a criminal record or an application for either a career in law enforcement or a government security clearance there is little chance of any fingerprint record in a database.

your a dick. why try and ruin the story. an idiot like you would always read it first and then claim to "predict" the end. make you look a proper clever dicky won't it.

Very Intriguing Story.

A very enjoyable read so far. Looking forward to the development of the story and Alan resuming his life -- and finding the truth of his past.

I’ve got a bad feeling about Dirty Derek the dodgy builder, maybe he’s just a bit too convenient and a red herring….

5⭐️ As it’s a great tale so far, looking forward to seeing the denouement at the end…
