That kind of sums up your writing style, report the details like a documentary and let the reader imagine how the characters interacted, what they said, how they said it, the setting, the emotions, the drama. Just use your imagination, because the author is unwilling or not competent to communicate the events in real time, like watching and listening to real people. That is just Too Much Work!

Sorry, but its always a let down when such a promising plot and interesting characters are squandered to poor execution and dry newspaper style reporting of events. You have pretty much telegraphed that the stupid bitch is going to make the mistakes of a stupid bitch and screw up her marriage through miscommunication, adverse presumption, and mindless adulterous choices. The only real drama to this story is, how many pages will it take you to numb our brains with pointless details, superfluous side stories, and totally contrived unrealistic choices and actions.
