But it definitely needs editing. I noticed many errors that are quite common among authors, mainly the use of words that sound the same but are spelled differently, than the words that should be used, i.e. "hear" instead of "here," and "there" instead of "their" or "they're."

As much as I appreciate your quick posting of these chapters, they can only benefit from some brief editing by another pair of eyes. Like the comment above, there are some spelling confusions--and I'm only this honest because this story is SO GOOD so far I want you to continue to improve upon it! Can't wait for Jennifer & Jack to get together!!
