All Comments on 'Therapy'

A professor was showing my class in abnormal psychology a movie of five cases of what was then called neurotic behavior. The fifth story was about a young woman who had very low self esteem and deliberately sabotaged her relationships with men because she deemed herself unworthy of their affection. The student sitting next to me said 'All she needs is to be fucked all night by the right man.' I thought this was a rather simplistic, condescending remark and since the professor was sitting directly in front of us I expected him to say something to the student. He turned around and all he did was smile.

I guess sometimes sex is the best therapy. Like chicken soup, It couldn't hurt.

Nicely written with characters that seemed real and believable.
