The most emotionally griping story I'd read in a while. I don't think I could have written this. This story brought too many emotions to the front. I couldn't imagine enduring this. I hope I don't have to say goodbye to my wife for decades to come.

I was overwhelmed as I read this story. The emotion it was written with was the best I have read. You can feel the love he felt for his wife. Your writing is a success when you make the reader feel the emotion of the character. Very well done!

This hit home as I lost my Love to cancer while life goes on there isn't a day I don't think of her. It's been 5 years now and reading this made me feel the hurt again. I had a happy tear for her. Loved the story, keep up the good works as I like your stories.

This happened to me and for 6 months I would involuntarily collapse, my knees give out and I would cry so hard I thought I would die and this went on for 6 months. Two years before I could even have lunch and a decent conversation with a women and five years before I felt comfortable having sex again...making love - don't know?

There was high drama based on flawed people making mistakes. Sometimes they doubled down on them, sometimes they tried to fix things.

High emotion. High action dialogue. Clashes of personalities and value judgments.

It was amazing.

These days...how do I put this...9 out of 10 times we get a story put in the wrong category and instead of conflict or drama, we get maudlin crying over lost loves.

You did that once very well. Heartstrings tugged.

I miss the old Slirpuff stories however.

Heart wrenching. There is lots of grit in my eyes.

Regardless of the circumstances one always has to go first. Sometimes at night I come in real late, if I can't hear my wife breathing I'll deliberately wake her up. The sound of her angry voice and the feel of her tiny fists are so comforting.

Great gimmick if so. Personally, I liked the story better when he wrote it the first time ( A Little Bit of Death' ).

I am now more depressed than I already was and still mourn the loss of a loved one even though its been a few years. Its a good thing I am too chickenshit to use a gun on myself and my dog needs fed in the morning.

I buried two wives to lung cancer. I was with them both at their last breath. That idiot at the top with anonymous (just like booze which gives you liquid courage) is a horse's ass.
